ReportBase in ARANSEC

Once installed, the menu entry "ReportBase" in CustoSec or ARANSEC will open the ReportBase Configuration page, which looks like the examples on the right.

In both cases, ARANSEC or CustoSec, configuration contains 3 sections:

Displaying the actual status of the ReportBase related services running on ARANSEC / CustoSec once ReportBase is installed. The last entries in the two log files are displayed as well. There are 5 services running on ARANSEC / CustoSec controlling ReportBase. Once started, there is no more configuration or administration in ARANSEC / CustoSec required.

Local ReportBase displays the status installed when the plugin has been activated. The Client Settings are only required when ARANSEC or CustoSec are attached to an HQ System. In all other cases leave these fields empty.

At the bottom of the Configuration page are controls to start, stop or restart the ReportBase Services on ARANSEC or CustoSec. This is only needed in rare cases.

For HQ Systems no manual configuration is necessary.

This section starts a download dialogue for the local (Java) client. It provides the administration interface for maintaining templates and cockpit documents. A Starter Script for Windows and Linux is also included in the download package.

Use this dialogue to download newer versions of the client. In future versions it will be possible for the client to update itself automatically.
